I know what I want to do. I want to give every retired farmer with even a modicum of teaching skills who understands the concept and actually practiced crop rotation a rifle company, a dozen small tractors, sufficient seed for a quarter section for three seansons and enough logistical support and ancillary equipment to do the job and last that long.
For every four farmers I would send a mortar company. For every eight farmers I would send a company of cannon cockers. For every 32 farmers I would send a tank platoon. For every 128 an engineering battalion. For ever 512 I would send a medical unit sufficient for a division under heavy continuous fire. For every 1024 I would send a wing of A10s. For every 4096 I would send a carrier task force. For every 16,384 I would have to start worrying as all we have left to defend the US is the Coasties and and part of the Air Force.

If we can't do that send in sufficient SF and sniper squads to cap the 100 worst people in the Sudan Simutaneously every month. An hour before they are scheduled to die do a huge leaflet drop announcing their names from a wing of Buffasaurases. repeat every month until a modicum peace falls over the land. Then bring in the food and farm equipment.

I don't lay any hope for diplomatic and philanthropic solutions for Africa. It doesn't last and usually ends up in the hands of the villains.

I wish there were better solutions.

All right all you gentle beings and not so gentle beings. This is the spot where I will discuss politics.

I am a conservative only in the commonly held world view. In historical terms I am a bloody radicalist.

Freedom is earned in blood and granted by God. To those we owe our freedom we can only repay by eternal vigilance in the protection of that freedom and constant effort on regaining it for others.

Absolute freedom not only implies but requires absolute responsibility. If you wish no responsibility sell your self into servitude.

If you intentionally harm a child or leave a child where you or others about you are being harmed you should be in prison or dead. If you stay with an abusive spouse you should be sent to prison and have all parental rights terminated at the very least.

Life begins at conception. To argue otherwise is both stupid and sophistical. Until you can PROVE otherwise the debate on abortion should be about agonizing choices in the weighing of lives. Sadly, it is not.

Feeding others places a moral obligation on the fed to feed others when they have plenty. If you have plenty feed others even or especially strangers.

Charity is a choice and an obligation. We are obliged to be charitible but we choose the how and the whereof.

It is your business and responsibilty to protect and defend the weak.

It is your business and responsibility to protect and defend yourself even if you are weaker for there will always be others even weaker.

Taxes are lawful theft. More than is needed for the legitimate purposes of government is immoral and should be fought passionately and with honor.

What is the legitimate purpose of government? Stay tuned.

Attack ideas and words with ideas and words. Attack actions with actions if neccessary.

If you can never admit error you have no business debating.
